Steven Hughes is an affiliated Professional Engineer performing Property Condition Report (PCA) and Architectural and Engineering (A&E) report reviews for McRoberts & Hartis, P.C., including review of pavements, exteriors, roofs, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems to determine age, level of maintenance received, expected useful life, and estimated replacement costs during the evaluation period. Steven is a registered Professional Engineer in multiple states, is LEED AP Certified, and has over 30 years’ experience as a Professional Engineer. Steven has extensive experience in property condition assessments having performed over 1,000 inspections throughout the country including everything from 50-story high risers to small multi-family apartment complexes.
In addition to his affiliation with McRoberts & Hartis, P.C., Steven serves as the President of Hughes Consulting Engineering, PA, where he performs on-site inspections/reviews for real estate transactions. His expertise is concentrated in Property Condition Assessments, HVAC and electrical system assessments, hazard assessment, and energy conservation. Steven also develops design documents for HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) and Life Safety Systems.
